About The Ranch

We start with a Brangus cow who gets bred to a Charolais bull. The calf is had at one of our ranch locations. The momma cow will raise the calf for about 8 months, until the calf is about 500-600 pounds.

At some point before the calves get to big to handle in the pens, we will castrate the bulls and deworm all the calves. Once the calves are of age, we wean them. What that means is we take them off of their mommas milk, and put them on grassy pastures. For the next year of their lives, they will live in the grassy pastures eating hay and natural forage. Once the calves reach 1200-1300 pounds, they are sent to our USDA certified slaughter house to be processed.
